Thanks, probably, to the work of Alison Redford, new premier of Alberta and formerly a human rights lawyer, sex reassignment surgery has been restored to Alberta's list of procedures covered by the provincial medical plan.

SRS used to be available in Alberta, but was removed three years ago.

It must be good news for Alberta that now the surgery is included in his plan.

You are absolutely not dropping your blog posts into a black hole; I at least am very excited to see now that you are keeping a blog as I had tried some time ago to sign up for a mailing list but the address was defunct! I'm very pleased to have a backlog of posts to catch up on and I will definitely be a regular reader from here on out.

That said, I'm sorry to tell you that it looks like several of the comments on this post are spam and not genuine comments. The comments are not specific to the topic of the post, and the posters' names link to sites marketing products. They are trying to lure customers and/or increase their search engine ranking.

(If this is a double-post I apologize! Something went a little strange with my browser and I am not certain my comment was submitted the first time I tried.)

It must be best part about it for Alberta that now the surgery treatment is involved in his strategy.
